Great Basin Bird Conference

Meeting Date: 5/17/2017 - 5/21/2017

The Great Basin Bird Conference will be held in Reno, NV, May 17-21, 2017. In addition to showcasing birds and habitat conservation efforts in the region, the conference will be a wonderful celebration of Great Basin Bird Observatory’s 20-year anniversary and will have a lively keynote address by Ted Floyd.  

Submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations by January 11, 2017. Oral presentations will be given on May 18-19 and posters will be displayed at a reception on May 18.  Presentations topics sought include applied research, monitoring, and conservation projects for birds and bird habitats in the Great Basin and adjoining regions, as well as bird records committee activities.  Student presentations are also welcome!
